Our Smoking Process
Fresh, handcrafted meats and poultry start with unique rubs, cures and brines. They are then smoked for up to 13 hours in-house by our award-winning “Pit Master”. The freshest spices are used with apple, peach and sugar maple woods to produce the most incredibly flavored meats. Our hams, bacon, turkey, briskets, chicken and sausages are some of the finest you will ever taste.

Sports fans take note! Cobo Joe’s now offers shuttle service to the Little Caesar’s Arena, where the Detroit Red Wings are playing this season.
Just park at one of the four parking garages within 1 block of Cobo Joe’s, all cost way less than parking next to the arena. Stop in to Cobo Joe’s Smokehouse BBQ & Sports Bar for pre-game BBQ and beverages.
Next, ride the spacious, luxury coach to the arena, we’ll drop you right at the door! Return shuttles pick up on a regular basis. Come back to Cobo Joe’s and show your game ticket stub for post game food and drink specials!
